Polycold Unit Conversions

HCFC TO HFC REFRIGERANT CONVERSION (OZONE FRINDLY)
- Cryotech systems can convert your obsolete cry chillers, to work with the HFC
based refrigerant charges. Not all older units are eligible for this conversion,
and the ones that are, will require extensive hardware changes, such as
retrofitting full flow oil separators and/or EPR valves. Also a very thorough
flushing of the refrigerant circuit is required, in order to eliminate the
previously used and incompatible alkylbenzene oil, which will then be
replaced with POE. Because of the complexity in performing this conversion and the special equipment required, this is not a good for converting at the customer’s site.
